Frequently Asked Questions
The application process for MCBC will consist of a written application (see above!) and an interview. Interviews will have a mix of behavioral questions as well as technical questions, which will be based on your indicated initiative of interest on your application. Those who indicate "finance" should expect basic accounting and finance technical questions, and whose who indicate "consulting" should expect a short case study question.
MCBC looks for a lot of things in applicants, not just technical knowledge! Your character when interacting with members, passion for the club, and ability to communicate are all very important to your candidacy - don't let a lack of technical experience deter you from applying to MCBC!
Yes! We encourage all UofM students who have an interest in MCBC's mission and initiatives to apply. Diversity in major is highly important to our club's success, and thus we do not discriminate based on college or major.
The best way to prepare yourself for the application process is to truly be excited about the club. Show up to events, talk to our members, and decide that this is truly a community you want to be a part of! Your passion and curiosity demonstrated in your application and interviews will no doubt help you stand out as a candidate.
